Overview

You can use the citation generator without creating an account. The tool is designed to keep citation drafting in your browser unless you choose to export a file or send an email request for a service.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-M9E7CZPQHG to understand page views, approximate location, browser/device information, referral sources, and citation-tool interaction events.

Local citation history

The reference-list feature stores saved citations in your browser local storage. This local history is not sent to our server by the citation-list feature. You can clear it with the Clear list button or by clearing browser storage.

DOI lookup and external services

When you enter a DOI, the browser may request public metadata from Crossref. Patent links may point to Google Patents. Export buttons create files locally in your browser. External services have their own privacy policies.

Advertising and affiliate links

The site may use Google AdSense advertising when a publisher account is configured. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. Affiliate links or sponsored placements will be disclosed when used.
